BSTT Championship Race Series
Rules and Standings

BSTT Age Group Points

(Earn points competing against other Bay Staters regardless of official results.)

1st in BSTT A/G: 10 pts, 2nd: 8 pts, 3rd: 6 pts, 4th: 4 pts, 5th: 2 pts, 6th+: 1 pt. A DNF receives 1 point less than the last place finisher in age group (max deduction to 5 pts).

Official Race A/G Podium

(Earn points if you finish on the podium for your A/G at the event.)

1st in Race A/G: 3 pts, 2nd: 2 pts, 3rd: 1 pt.

Elite Division

If you race as an Elite at a BSTT Championship race or finish 2+ of them in the top 10 overall, you move from A/G to the Elite points system. Previous CRS A/G points are re-scored under Elite. Future CRS races follow Elite rules. Elite points can be scored at any CRS race and volunteering races.

Elite Point System

(Earn points for finishing in the overall top-10 at the event.)

10th=1, 9th=2, 8th=3, 7th=4, 6th=5, 5th=6, 4th=7, 3rd=9, 2nd=11, 1st=14 pts.

Automatic Elite status goes to anyone with 2+ top-10 overall CRS finishes. To be considered for re-placement into A/G due to injury/illness, submit a request to the board.

Qualifying

Minimum of 3 CRS races to be considered for awards. For A/G, your best 4 CRS races are totaled (if you have only 3, all 3 are counted). For Elite, all CRS races are counted.

Tie Breaker — Volunteer Points

In a tie, winner is decided by volunteer points. Season Opener and Patriot Half are worth 2 pts each; all other volunteer activities are 1 pt. (Maximum volunteer points is 6.)

Looking forward to a great year together!
